Job Builder Powered by JDXpert

The UCM Job Builder – powered by JDXpert is the newest enhanced system that replaces the previous Job Builder tool and serves as a repository for all staff (non-student) job descriptions. 

Developed in partnership with JDXpert and Payscale, this systemwide initiative aims to improve the job description creation process and bring greater consistency and standardization to job documentation across the UC system.

Looking Ahead:

In a future phase, Job Builder will also be used as a workflow tool for managing staff compensation and classification actions. The timeline for this next phase is to be determined.

What You Need to Know:

  • Training & Support: Resources such as recorded training sessions and user guides are available to support users in navigating the new system. Please reach out to your assigned Compensation Analyst to request access. 
  • Access: To gain access to the system, please contact your assigned Compensation Analyst by emailing jobbuilder@ucmerced.edu
