Local Accommodation Procedures

Transitional Return to Work 


This program facilitates the return of employees that have temporary work restrictions to transitional work for a defined period of time (up to 90 days) as they recover from an injury or illness. 

Reasonable Accommodations


This procedure addresses the process in which the University engages with employees to identify and implement Reasonable Accommodations that will enable employees to perform the essential functions of their position, and the process to ensure applicants are provided an equal opportunity for employment,

Medical Separation 


This local procedure provides guidance on the process for Medical Separation. A non-probationary (regular status) employee who becomes unable to perform the Essential Functions of their position with or without a Reasonable Accommodation, due to a disability, may be separated.
