UC Merced’s policy is to comply with its obligations under The California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA) to promote the identification and reporting of child abuse and neglect. All university employees who are mandated reporters must make required reports to child protection or law enforcement agencies. Mandated reporters must also complete the following training.
Topics include:
- an overview of the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (“CANRA”)
- recognize the responsibilities of a mandated reporter
- identify how to report, and locate resources at your location
