Career Coaching for staff members
Human Resources’ Talent Development team offers career coaching for staff members at UC Merced. Professional career coaches are skilled and trained in helping staff members create a personalized plan designed to meet their goals.
Career Coaching is an online and in-person three-step process. Step one and two require you to think about yourself and your goals by completing personal assessments and tutorials on My UC Career. Once completed, you’re then ready for step three and to meet with a career coach.
If you’re interested in working with a career coach, please follow the 3-step process outlined below.
- To begin, use your UC email address to register for an account.
- Complete (3) personal assessments, update your resume and create a pitch statement. Coaches use My UC Career as a starting point to help staff members prepare for the in-person consultation sessions.
