Over the course of 8 weeks, we will use yoga to explore the relationships between the body, breath, and mind. No experience is necessary; all levels of ability are welcome. Postures (asana) are both guided by the breath and help develop your awareness of breath. In turn, you can use the breath to help gain greater awareness of the body. The asana practice will prepare the body for breathwork (pranayama) that can be used as preparation for meditation or, in itself, be a meditative practice. Expect at least 30 minutes of asana practice in every meeting. Sign up for sessions individually or as a series. Bring yoga mats and props if you have them. There will also be some available.
