Employee Recourse if no Evaluation: No recourse if an evaluation is not provided
Employee Response: At the time of the evaluation, the employee shall be given a copy of the evaluation and shall have the opportunity to provide written comments regarding the evaluation.  The comments, if any, shall be attached to the employee's evaluation and placed in the employee's personnel file.
Default Rating: No default rating, if a performance evaluation has not been given.
Grievability: A non-probationary career employee who receives a written performance evaluation with an overall rating lower than satisfactory or meets expectations may file a grievance pursuant to the provisions of Article 6.  Such grievance concerning the contents of performance evaluation rating the employee as less than satisfactory shall be eligible to be processed through Steps 1 and 2 of the Grievance Procedure but shall not be eligible for review at Step 3 of the Grievance Procedure.
Probation Period: A probationary employee shall be evaluated in writing at least once near the midpoint of a full probationary period.
