Thank you for your interest in becoming a CAMP mentor. Mentors are an integral part of CAMP as they assist mentees with assessing career interests and qualifications, exploring career options and taking action on developing career objectives.
New to CAMP is the use of career tracks information for paring mentors to mentees. The career tracks job structure supports the development of career paths that enhance career mobility within UC Merced and across UC locations, and helps focus development activities for mentees.
CAMP will pair mentors with mentees who seek career growth and development in similar careers. To do so, the career tracks job family and functional areas will be used for pairing mentors to mentees.
When answering each question, please refer to the Career Tracks Job Families and Job Functions document and the Career Tracks Job Family Descriptions document for additional information.
