This holiday season, take charge of your weight!
Most Americans gain an average of about 1 pound during the holidays. While this might not seem like a lot, they usually don’t lose it. And over time, it adds up.
To help you beat the odds this year, we’ve teamed up with Kaiser Permanente to bring you Healthy Holiday Challenge.
This 8-week program can help you stay focused on eating healthy and fitting in exercise - a great way to keep off the extra pounds!
Healthy Holiday Challenge takes place Nov. 25, 2019 through Jan. 17, 2020.
The program encourages employees to maintain their weight through confidential weekly "self" weigh-ins. The program provides weekly challenges, as well as supportive tools and tips for adopting healthy behaviors throughout the holidays. It also supports participants in staying mindful of healthy habits such as incorporating physical activity and healthy eating into enjoyment of the festivities. You’ll receive eight weekly emails that will include challenges, tips, and resources to help you maintain your weight.
The first 250 participants will receive a “registration gift”.
How to Participate:
Step 1: If you did not already sign up at the Open Enrollment Benefits & Wellness Fair, then sign up here.
Step 2: Print the weekly personal tracking sheet (this document will be emailed out to all participants).
Step 3: Weigh-in and record to track your activity and success on the weekly personal tracking each week.
Step 4: Complete participation survey for weeks 1 through 2 for a chance to win an incentive prize. The survey link will be emailed out to all participants.
Step 5: Complete participation survey for weeks 1 through 5 for a chance to win an incentive prize. The survey link will be emailed out to all participants.
Step 6: Complete a final survey for weeks 1 through 8 for a chance to win a Fitbit Charge 3! The survey link will be emailed out to all participants.
