The CAMP steering committee will create the programmatic aspects and guide the initial implementation of a campus wide initiative to develop meaningful learning and career advancement opportunities for staff in all areas of the University. The steering committee will work with Human Resources to construct a programming schedule, create advertisements and promote campus awareness of the program, select mentors and mentees for the first iteration of this program, and help assess the success of a launched and implemented CAMP program.

CAMP is facilitated by the coordinator. The coordinator is part of the CAMP steering committee and is responsible for coordinating the mentorship and career planning components, involving:
- Assisting with application process and answering questions related to the program
- Coordinating welcome and career workshops for mentors/mentees from various departments
- Sending out official notices to the mentees and mentors regarding the match, including CAMP Guiding Handouts (for mentees and mentors)
- Compiling information in a mentor/mentee database
- Coordinating coaching sessions for mentors regarding their mentee or program issues (if applicable)
- Encouraging mentees to become a mentor to others (after the program)
- Coordinating all career workshops
